    • Sitecore will only perform a backup as described in the request forms for the Azure App Services and SQL databases.
    • The customer is responsible to do backup and recovery for other resources, such as Redis Cache.
    • Any backup recovery operation for the Azure App Services and SQL databases can be triggered either by the customer or Sitecore by submitting a service request on the Sitecore Support Portal. After the backup recovery is done, the customer is responsible to do any post configuration and/or cleanup. Therefore, the customer must ensure the integrity of restored data. We recommend that customers regularly test restoration as a part of normal business continuity planning.
